Important Notes
You must complete your FAFSA before applying (it’s free at studentaid.gov)
Scholarships are renewable for up to 4 years (or longer if attending part-time)
Scholarships must be used at a Maryland school unless your major is not offered in-state (in that case, apply for a Unique Major waiver via the Maryland Higher Education Commission)
If you are awarded a Senatorial Scholarship, it will be automatically renewed for up to three additional years.
The maximum award timeframe is four years (8 semesters) for full-time students or up to 16 semesters for a part-time student.
Scholarships are intended for use at a Maryland college or trade school.
If you are going to study a major that is not offered at a Maryland school, you will need to apply for a Unique Major and complete the application through the Maryland Higher Education Commission.
