At the conclusion of our Israel trip, we met with Ambassador Mike Huckabee, who underscored the substantial benefits the U.S. receives from its relationship with Israel, which goes beyond Israel’s reliance on U.S. support. He cited technology, intelligence sharing, innovation, medical and agricultural advances as areas where the U.S. benefits. He noted that the relationship is not merely transactional or diplomatic, but rather is grounded in shared values: democracy, Judeo-Christian heritage, and a commitment to individual worth.
