The project aligns with the goals and objectives of Program Open Space and was approved and appropriated by the Maryland General Assembly. However, final approval from the Board of Public Works is required before funding can be committed.
Once approved, the Town of Hancock will be able to begin work as soon as they are ready.
We extend our sincere thanks to our state senators, delegates, and local leaders for their continued support in enhancing the quality of parks and recreational opportunities for all Marylanders.
