Veteran\’s Day

On Monday, it was my honor to attend several Veterans Day commemorations around District 1C. I was please to join events in Cumberland, Flintstone and Hancock that honored the service and sacrifice of our Western Maryland veterans. I was very touched by the performance of the Hancock Girl Scout troop who performed a special song at the Hancock United Methodist Church. It\’s wonderful to see our youngest citizens being taught about the significance of this important day.

Pre-Legislative Briefings & Meetings

The 2020 Legislative Session is just seven weeks away and elected officials at the state and local level have been meeting to develop their plans and goals. Over the past two weeks I have attended several pre-legislative sessions across the District with local partners in addition to several sub-committee and commission meetings in Annapolis.
