Local Parks and Playground Funding
I am pleased to inform you that the Department of Natural Resources has received multiple grant requests from the City of Frostburg, Allegany County, and Garrett County for Local Parks and Playgrounds Infrastructure Funding assistance in the amounts of $13,842.90, $25,000, and $48,425, respectively. In Frostburg, this is for the Sowers Field Improvements project; in Allegany County this for the Deer Park Town Center Lighting project; and in Garrett County, it is for the Cresaptown Sports Complex Improvements project.
