It is a pleasure to inform you that the Department of Natural Resources has received a grant request for Community Parks and Playground assistance for the following project:

CPP 7857-11-322 – CPP – Leo Martin Park – Lighting Applicant: Town of Mountain Lake Park, Garrett County

POS Local Amount: $10,100.00 Total Project Cost: $10,100.00

Project Description: Purchase and install LED lighting for security and expand park usage at Leo Martin Park.

This project is consistent with CPP objectives and funding was approved and appropriated by the General Assembly. However, Board of Public Works approval is necessary prior to the commitment of funds. This project will be submitted to the Board for approval in the very near future and if approved, the local government may begin at their earliest opportunity.
