As you are well aware, November’s General Election is fast approaching, and it will be an election unlike any other we have ever experienced.
Regardless of what it says on your voter registration card, it is imperative that all Washington County residents pay close attention to news regarding November’s elections. There is too much at stake to sit this one out.
In addition to Presidential and Congressional races, there are also several state ballot questions. I encourage you to plan ahead for whatever voting method you plan to use and educate yourself on your voting rights.
If like me, you put your faith in voting in-person, be sure to make note of Washington County’s voting centers. Because of COVID-19, the Board of Elections has reduced the number of polling locations for early voting (80) and Election Day (315) statewide. Be sure you budget enough time for a longer trip to the polls and plan for long lines.
