On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, the Board of Public Works will be considering a request from the Maryland Department of Health to approve a $665,000 grant to Western Maryland Health Care Corporation d.b.a. Mountain Laurel Medical Center to assist with the renovation and equipping of the grantee’s facility located at 28 Hershberger Lane, Grantsville, MD. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, the Grantee provides access to a wide range of advanced primary and behavioral health care services. The total cost of the project is $886,000 (Item 2 of the Department of General Services’ Office of State Procurement Agenda).
