Today, the Maryland Board of Public Works approved funding for various projects across District 1. You can check them out below.

District 1A: A request from the Department of Natural Resources to commit $80,000 in funding from the Community Parks and Playground Program to construct a new pavilion with picnic tables and an access road at Meadow Park in Barton (Item 1A.1 of the Department of Natural Resources’ Real Property Agenda);

District 1B: A request from the Department of Natural Resources to commit $26,250 in funding from the Community Parks and Playground Program to construct a new pavilion and add new doors, LED security lighting and other interior improvements to an existing building at East End Park in Frostburg (Item 1A.2 of the Department of Natural Resources’ Real Property Agenda); and

District 1C: A request from the Department of Natural Resources to commit $200,000 in funding from the Community Parks and Playground Program to construct a new community splash park at WydmyerPark in Hancock (Item 8A of the Department of Natural Resources’ Real Property Agenda).
